What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. MTA uses cookies to keep you signed in to the admin dashboard and, with your permission, to understand how the marketplace is used and to measure the effectiveness of our promotions.

Cookies MTA uses

The table below lists every cookie MTA sets, what it does, how long it stays on your device, and whether it is essential or optional.

Essential vs. optional cookies

Essential (required)

These cookies are necessary for the admin sign-in session and core site security. They cannot be disabled — without them the admin dashboard and authenticated features would not work. No choice is required for these; they are set automatically when you sign in.

Optional (analytics & marketing)

These cookies help us improve the marketplace and measure promotion effectiveness. They are only set if you accept them. Declining optional cookies does not affect your ability to browse listings, contact sellers, submit inquiries, or use any other feature of the site.

Managing cookies in your browser

In addition to the Cookie Settings tool above, you can manage or delete cookies directly in your browser. Disabling all cookies may prevent you from signing in to the admin dashboard, but will not affect browsing listings or contacting sellers.

Declining non-essential cookies

If you decline non-essential cookies, MTA will only set the cookies required for the admin sign-in session. You will still be able to browse all claims and equipment listings, view the claims map, contact sellers, submit inquiries and service requests, and list your own claim. No part of the public marketplace is gated behind optional cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the bottom of this page. Continuing to use MTA after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, subject to your stored consent preferences.
